The present projects onto the past
Recollection (2019) is a short film and music piece that's a labour of love to my parents' birth-land of East Africa.
The project expresses the construction of ancestral memory, embracing the mythologies - both reductive and visceral - created along the way. It was made to be displayed in gallery and screen spaces.
